Other Nursing-Related Organizations

The Nursing Students Without Borders (NSWB) Collection consists of video recordings, photographs, and papers describing the inception of the organization at the University of Virginia School of Nursing, its recruitment and fundraising efforts, and its nursing service initiatives. The El Salvador, Migrant Health, and South Africa Initiatives are described by documents, photographs and journals in this collection.

The collection includes correspondence and organizational papers of the Board of Directors and various committee minutes and financial reports. It also includes papers and photographs pertaining to social events, awards, and scholarships sponsored by the Alumni Association. The collection documents the period from 1950 to the present.
