The Caroline H. Benoist Collection includes wide-ranging material from one of the first public health nurses who served in Mississippi during the 1930s.

 
The Nancy Milio Collection contains material principally related to the organization and operation of the Mom and Tots Neighborhood Center in the 1960s. A public health nurse at the time, Milio established this ground-breaking community clinic where she grew up, in southeast Detroit, Michigan.
